We can help prevent the pain our family has felt through education and equipping people with the tools to save lives when the unthinkable happens.
Where Your Donations Go
- Scholarships
The Connor Donovan Memorial Fund currently sponsors two annual scholarships, each of $2500. The first scholarship provides tuition assistance to the Tri-County Saints Hockey team in Taunton, Massachusetts, helping ensure that more kids can benefit from the hockey program that Connor loved so much. The second goes to a graduating senior at Middleboro High School aiming to pursue a career in the mental health field.
- Billboards
In addition to our annual golf tournament and other awareness events, the Connor Donovan Memorial Fund sponsors billboards multiple times a year on Route 24 to help reach more of the South Shore community. Examples of prior billboards include:
- Harm Reduction Advocacy
The best way to prevent overdoses is to educate the public not only about the dangers of fentanyl, but also about what to do if you or someone you know is in a life threatening situation. We are consistently looking for more opportunities to promote this work, participating in events such as Texas Roadhouse’s Dine to Donate, the Brockton Rox, and more.
